Wax seal wedding invitations - back to basics of design

Back to the traditional craft of design. Sometimes I find that there’s a bit too much screen time involved so I enjoyed the therapeutic work of putting wax seals on some lovely wedding stationery this afternoon at @republicofwork.

Once I got into the groove working with the pearly wax, it was an assault on the senses, you can’t get from working on the computer.

Although weddings are a bit different these days, your wedding stationery can still be extra special and set the tone for your big day.

I love to combine trends and here I combined the green foliage which is still huge for 2022 with the fab trend of wax seals and it looks amazing.
The wax seals are on the front instead of the envelope to create a modern elegant feel.

The invitations were printed onto a white pearl paper to give an extra luxurious finishing touch and the guests’ names were printed directly onto the wedding stationery to make them personalised for each guest. The rsvp crads were created in a postcard style making it super easy for guests to respond on time.

These will be added as a template design (watch this space for updates) that can be edited and printed yourself and I also offer a full service custom design and print service.

This stationery comes as a set available with save the date cards, invitations, rsvp cards, ceremony booklets, placenames, table numbers, thank you cards and wedding day signage with other items available on request.

Personalised stamp sets are available to match any design and the wax is available is a wide range of colours. They are a great way to bring your wedding theme together, and can even be used after the wedding when sending out your Christmas cards!
