I love my job! This afternoon I was doing some concept work for an upcoming logo design. I’ve always been someone who doodled at the side of my school notebook. Now it’s part of my process.

I try to get away from the computer and my desk and find a nice quiet place that I can gather all of my thoughts about the project brief, and then I put pen to paper and see what comes out. Often at the beginning this is like a stream of consciousness and a jumble of words and doodles.

The next step for me for this logo is to sleep on it and come back tomorrow and make some sense and concrete ideas from the doodles. I am looking forward to seeing what comes out of it!
