I am so honoured to be named as a finalist in the ‘power within’ category in the Network Cork business woman of the year awards. This last year Network Ireland has been a real lifeline for me through what I consider as the first ‘proper’ year of my business.

These amazing women have welcomed me with open arms to the club without judgement and with nothing but support and it’s unreal to be recognised by the judges in this category with two other fantastic women. For me the ‘power within’ means finding your inner strength and figuring out what you have to offer the world and going for it despite any barriers in the way.

It’s been an amazing journey for me so far in my personal life supported all the way by my wonderful partner in crime: Kevin Higgins and my career path has not been straight forward by any means, but having a group that encourages and supports everyone’s individual journey really helps to bring out the power within all of us.

Thanks to all of the team for their hard work, the judges for putting me forward and the members for being such a great group of women who inspire me each week.
