I am an accredited Graphic Designer, PR Practitioner and Digital Marketer. I am currently studying towards a masters degree in Digital Marketing in Munster Technological University. I am passionate about all things design and all things digital. With agency experience working on a diverse portfolio of client work, I have a depth of knowledge surrounding what makes a brand from the visual to the practical.
I was a winner of the Network Cork Business Woman of the Year awards 2022, in the ‘Power Within’ category, and was highly recommended by judges at the national Network Ireland awards 2022.
I am currently studying towards a masters in Digital Marketing Strategy and I am doing my thesis on LinkedIn for visual arts graduates and I would to show others how LinkedIn can help them in either searching for a job or building a business.
What I love the most about start-ups is the sense of opportunity and the ability to imagine and design for the future. I believe in the entrepreneurial spirit and the underdog. I love being a business owner myself, but I understand the many challenges that it can bring from the overwhelm of getting set up to the feeling of being up against bigger companies with bigger budgets.
Design, marketing and digital marketing are tools that, when used with creativity can cause change and disruption to create that world you can only imagine for your business.
Education is important to me and I am a lifelong learner, always upskilling in areas that I think are the most relevant to my professional development. I believe in accessibility to design for everyone from primary school to third level. An understanding of design is not just something that can impact your business ROI, but can improve your life.
I am a proud member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland IDI, Network Cork, a branch of Network Ireland, the Cork Chamber of Commerce, and Sian Horn’s THE CLUB women’s network. I live in the center of beautiful Cork city with my husband and my three children.
